Teacher gift table
This week is teacher appreciation week at my daughters preschool. Saturday we spent most of the day at school decorating and putting together the teacher gifts. Our them was candy land - so sweet! We sent home with each kid a cut out of either a candy cane, gingerbread man, balloon, lollipop, candy cane, heart, gum ball machine, and peanut. We asked each student to return the cut out decorated with a thank you message and a picture of themselves. We created the candy lane path with felt squares and laid them on the carpet. Then we had a replica of the castle created and is hanging on the wall and surrounding the castle are all of the thank you notes from the students. I took some pictures of the decorations. I'm so disappointed with the pictures! I'm going to blame it on the lighting in the school and the fact I only had so much room to take the pictures! Ugh! Really, I want a new camera but that's on my wish list! ;)
Thursday, I will update a picture of the cake we are having made! But for now I thought I would share a little of what I was up to this weekend!

ReplyDeleteI really wish baby #2 was a Lilly, we have good taste in girls names! but I have not really posted about it, I found out the sex of our baby, I gave in after 2 weeks of not knowing, as my mother-in-law knew as she was going to do our bedding, since my husband and I did not want to find out! I sunk in and called her a few weeks ago and found out it is another boy! I have not told a lot of people since my husband still does not want to know! He knows I know but he wants to be suprised, even though he swore he saw "boy parts" at the u/s! But it is Luke for us this time around! :) But still a secret on my blog... hence why I just call the baby- BABY L :)
