A little of what I've been up to...
Back in February, I invited a few friends over to my house for a Girls Night Out - Craft Inspired evening. I picked a craft and then everyone brought something to eat.
The concept of the evening was to use our pin boards for ideas. I don't know about you but I'm not sure when I will be able to find the time to make every craft I pin, food idea, or dessert that I've pinned?! I mean that would be crazy ;)
In February we spent the evening making T-Shirt Scarves - Sorry I was busy cutting and creating that I forgot to take pictures!! Shame on me!! I want to make a few more in some spring colors so next time I will take some pictures
The craft we did in March/April meet up was the No Sew Ruffled Tote - This is the tutorial we followed but after completing one bag I would try to ruffle first and then glue the strips down. The hardest part was ruffling the fabric and gluing it at the same time. For my bag, I tore my fabric instead of cutting the individual strips - it has more of the rag look to it.
It was so interesting to see the different choices in fabric that everyone picked out
Here is my completed bag

Below are a few examples of the totes the other girls made - It was so much fun to see what colors everyone picked out!
Happy Crafting!! ;)
