Well as Problogger and Wikepdiea define it as
“An elevator pitch is an overview of an idea for a product, service, or project. The name reflects the fact that an elevator pitch can be delivered in the time span of an elevator ride (for example, thirty seconds or 100– 150 words).” —Wikipedia
Today's task is to write my blogs elevator pitch.
Here is my short:
inspiring others through creativity
Here is my long:
The Preppy Strawberry is a place that I want to inspire women to be creative through my craft projects, recipes, and just a place to find every day inspiration. I want my readers to leave feeling happy and maybe even made them laugh with my sarcasm and that they want to come back and visit each day.
Tag line - this is work in progress but if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them!
** I'm sure I will tweak these throughout the next 31 days but this is a good place to start!
I welcome all feedback and comments - I would love to hear from you my readers.
So my question to you is - What is your Elevator pitch?
Fellow #31DBBB here and I love your first post! Just my opinion, but I like "Inspiring others through creativity as your tag line!
ReplyDeleteMy Elevator Pitch: My blog provides small business owners with tips and ideas to help them streamline their day to day business activities.”
I look forward to reading more!
Your tag line is great, and I love the concept behind your blog.
ReplyDeleteMy pitch is "I empower women to be the leaders Godde calls them to be at home, work and church by exploring the Divine Feminine and stories of the women in the Bible. I also use my experience and spiritual direction to help them discover new facets of Godde and their own leadership abilities."
I like your pitches - esp the shorter one. As someone who isn't that creative, it sums it up nicely. :)
ReplyDeleteMy elevator pitch is right on my top page. It's important for people to know what your about. Great new site btw, love the new name - everything!
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the tagline!! For the longer elevator pitch, the only suggestion I have is to separate you personally from your blog and avoid using "I," "me," etc.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting! Day 2 - this really challenged me for a topic! I'm not even sure if I hit the nail on the head with today's assignment!

ReplyDeleteYour current tagline calls to me with the thing-a-ma-jigs! It's very whimsical! Maybe that could be incorporated into your new tagline.
